Staying free with Simple Questions and Answers
Background
We originally planned to leave Simple Questions and Answers very basic in terms of functionality and therefore free. However different feature requests pushed us away from the plan "leaving it basic". Therefore we decided to commercialize Simple Questions and Answers.
How to stay free?
Free plan changed
With the release of Smart Questions and Answers 2.0.0 (renamed from Simple Questions and Answers) you may use the version from Marketplace without purchasing a license. However the feature set is still reduced as indicated below.
As we want to keep the original promise we will maintain Simple Questions and Answers version 1.6.x. Maintain means that we will keep it compatible with upcoming Confluence releases and will fix bugs. However we will not add any features. You can get the latest free version here or form the table below.

- Support of the mobile view
- Statistics
- System- and space-wide questions and answers link from the header bar
- Show similar questions when asking a new question

- My favorites filter
- Better usability
- etc.
